How to get here

We’re on Queen St, on the south side of Victoria Sq - look for the palm trees. Free on-site parking is available.

 

Bus: All buses drop off at the i-SITE, 450m away from the hostel. Take a left (south) down Palmerston St, then take the first left onto SH67. Take the second right onto Queen St and walk 100m to the hostel.

This historic 1860's building, originally a stately gentleman's residence, has a warm welcome and an easy charm. Enjoy our spacious common areas, beautiful gardens, woodwork and intricate pressed tin ceilings.

You'll find us in a quiet side street only 100 meters from the Post Office and within easy walking distance to all shopping and evening entertainment.

Our large common rooms, fully-equipped kitchen, modern laundry and some accommodation are in the oldest part of the building, while a new building with its own toilet and shower block contains five units suitable for families or groups.
