How to get here

We’re located on Amuri Ave just before the main township – look for the ‘Kakapo Lodge’ sign. Free on-site parking is available. It is highly advised that you carry snow chains with you at all times during winter.

 

Bus/Shuttle: Hanmer Connection drops off at the hostel if requested in advance. Southern Link East/West, Naked Bus, and InterCity drop off at the SH7/7a Junction, 10km from hostel. We offer pickups from this point for $10 per person, please call or email in advance to book.
